This bell has a good ring and the cradle (19 inches wide) is very strong. The globe itself is 14 1/2 inches wide and 8 1/2 inches high. The bell weighs about 52 pounds. The 3 mounting holes in bottom of cradle are free from obstruction and unless you have a drill press with plenty of bits, this is very important. Bells are shipped in strong double wall boxes to help insure safe delivery.

The YOKE on the FB2 bell has been hand fitted to CRADLE and the rope lever comes properly attached to the yoke. The 3 holes (for mounting) in the cradle have shoulders on one side. Make sure the shoulders face out (away from post) and place yoke in cradle so that the rope lever will be on the right.

NOTE ON FINISH: Although these bells have been cleaned and painted (to retard rust during shipment), the paint (black) is not very thick and we recommend that an additional coat of paint be applied before hanging bell outside.
